Rais should be a national icon, the fact that there's no one else like him, that someone like him only comes around every 50 years. He deserves more respect than what he's been getting by the Government. Why fear him if you're not doing anything wrong? How many of us love our country enough to dare to speak out against the wrongs in this country and sacrifice more than half our lives to do what Rais did? <BR/><BR/>Many people may have slammed him and hurt him and asking him questions like "What have you done for this country besides causing turmoil and unrest?" but Rais has more guts than any of the critics combined. For the fact that he stands up to the oppress, I salute him and hope there'll be others like him that will be bold enough to speak out against the blatant corruption and racial/religious intolerance in this country.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
