After Hunter

A very poignant interview with Hunter S. Thompson's widow, Anita from The Observer.

Just bought a copy of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Do post a review! Fear and Loathing was the unofficial Bible for my guy uni mates and that sorta' put me off it! Shallow I know, but you should have seen the way those guys behaved!

i love the book..its one of very very few books that i can read over and over again.

i love the movie too. in the extra features on the DVD, there is a segment where Hunter visits the set.

I used to buy Rolling Stones solely for his manic writing and as much as I love his works I do think that Hunter was bloody irresponsible to kill himself that way... and I feel very sad reading that guardian interview with his wife...she ought to let go...

visitor - i may just ask to borrow that DVD after reading the book

greenbottle - yes, irresposnible for sure ... and poor woman widowed at 33 and not expecting to meet anyone else in her life who can equal Thompson ... this is almost fiction in itself ...
