Heh, but it is pretty understandable. Since people tend to make judgements of the author as a person after reading their works, and ended up feeling all disappointed because the author as the person wasn't as interesting as his or her writings.
Exactly.. the thing about people here is that if you're even vaguely famous, they STARE when you go out. Just STARE. I never know why that is. After a while you get used to it. Was unnerving for quite a while though.
They don't.. but when you have to fill in a form, they'll take a look at it then go "oh, so _you_ are... ?" :P I never really answer these people though, let them think what they like :P

anon - don't believe anyone here is impressed with writers even if they do recognise them (= unlikely!)
