Now's the time to stock up on cheap books!
MPH is having a stock clearance promotion and MRC members are invited to the preview on 22 - 23 February 2006 9.30am-7.00pm and can take along three guests. (It's open to the public 24 - 28 but by then all the keen readers will have bought up the best stuff.)
The venue is Dewan D'Kelana, Kompleks Sukan MPPJ, Jln SS 7/5, Kelana Jaya, 47301, PJ.

Yay! That's really near where I stay... I'll definitely be there to sniff out some great books. Hopefully there are some Neil Gaiman books available.
How big is MPH? Is it Malaysia's equivalent of WH Smith or Waterstones? How do book prices compare between Malaysia and the UK?
Sorry. I'm drifting off-topic. I just notice that MPH is quite significant to Malaysian bloggers and a bit of context would be interesting for us overseas. A potential future blog entry perhaps?

Wow! MPH is going head to head with Times as they are also having a warehouse sale on 23rd. It's at 1st Floor Atria and the 23rd is for Times Members while the nxt day is open to public. I will have to join the public viewing for the MPH one as I ain't a MRC member. Thanks so much for the heads up Sharon.

sharon, I read abt it in ysterday's star metro. It was at one of those announcements on page 3 I think. I tend to prefer Times sale but if you do see any old Donna Hay magazines for sale in MPH, can you tell me as I want to grab some.
