A Fib But Not A Lie

(A silence punctuated by the sound of a writer hyperventilating, and the frantic shuffling of paper)
Can't
blog
right now.
Got to fret
about my reading
at Borders. Rewriting like mad.

(Tomorrow at 3p.m. at Borders, the Curve)

You'll do great, as you always do!

Wish I could be there but I'll be on my way back at that time.

Will it make you more nervous (nervouser?) to see friends there? A group of us attended the singer Janis Ian's concert in Brighton and were told not to sit in the front row as she gets nervous seeing familiar faces so near her. So we sat on the 2nd and 3rd rows (which had been reserved for us).

thanks friends - i know you're all there in spirit and the only thing i really care about is getting out of this alive ... inner critic is having a field day telling me how pedestrian my writing is (it sucks!!!) and i don't have the looks of ms d to fall back on neither ... bound to have a bad hair day too since i didn't make it to see felix for a trim ... and all my favourite clothes are at the dry cleaners arrrggggggggggghhhhhhhh

chet- can't wait to hear all your stories

All the best, Sharon. :) I'm sorry I can't be there as I'm in Singapore.
