The price is a bit steep for a well-thumbed second-hand book with scribblings in the margin.£2.8 million!
Simon Finch, a London book dealer based in Mayfair, is now the proud owner of a copy of the First Folio of Shakespeare's plays, published just seven years after the playwright's death in 1623, the Guardian reports.

And so the Director of the library said, "See, he folio-shly spent so much money on ONE book. I could have built 3 new roofs for the library for that amount of money!"
At least the library that sold that Folio can buy those three new roofs! :D
