Edgy Choices

The latest issue of Off the Edge is awfully nice. And I'm not just saying that because I was asked to talk about bookish stand-outs of the year. (As were Tash Aw, Tan Twan Eng, Robert Raymer, and Mark Disney ... and I'm not telling you what books they chose, though you know mine already!)

There's also the best of the 2006 in music, theatre, film, and food. And plenty of tasty and intelligent features, interviews and reviews ... Great value for RM6.

Sharon, congrats. Will go grab a copy.

Dina, welcome back to the blogsphere. I've left a comment on your new blog (the hyphen in between your name is so inconspicuous, I didn't see it at first and was greeted with a Not Found.)

dina - i can't get your blog at all. please post the precise link here so i can find it. i've tried every permutation of your name and keep getting error 404 ... and your blog isn't linked to your profile either.

I liked this issue, made it my holiday read at the beach over the weekend, and worth the time :)

......as for the cover....i liked what was attempted, though i can't say i'm a fan of the final execution. hah. anyhoo, http://www.creativepro.com/story/feature/23028.html read this on taxonomic wheel of scripts and thought of you, so hey.
