Machine Meltdown

Service may be intermittant over the next day or two. My laptop, which has been giving me big problems over the last couple of weeks, finally died on me this morning, and it seems the motherboard needs replacing. Have tumpanged Saras' computer to blog today. So if you don't see me here, do drop by some of the other great sites listed in my sidebar.

Oh no! *wails*

Hope you get your laptop back soon, and in tip-top condition. I am imagining blogging withdrawal symptoms... hehehe

Sharon --

Sorry to hear about your machine meltdown. I had a similar experience a couple of weeks back and I actually had blogging withdrawal as a consequence...

So, hope that your computer'll be fixed soon and that you'll be back in the blogosphere in next to no time!

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed meeting up with you and the rest of the bloggers @ Dina Zaman's book launch last night.

Wow, imagine live without PC. I might actually have to go out of the house :P that's scary :p

Ten years ago, there was no Internet. Twenty years ago, there were no PCs. And now if we don't have access to a PC and Internet, we suffer withdrawal symptoms. What does that say about us as a society ?

10 years ago, Internet was already available in Malaysia. Jaring started the service in 1995, which makes it 12 years in Malaysia this year. I was one of the first to sign up, having tasted its "goodness" via a text version back in 1989 while in grad school.

i'm restored!!!!!!

thanks to those nice people from dell who replaced the mother board which was actually fried by lightning

and there was also a problem which meant half the RAM needed replacing and i also had to buy a new modem

have been in a very on the edge emotional state for the last couple of days, as you all predicted, utterly bereft and twitchy
