Woman battles serious book dependency problem ...
Hey Sharon, there's a discussion in Ask Metafilter about which book is literarily representative of every country in the world. No Malaysia yet. What do you suggest?
nice discussion. this might be usefuli'm biased. will probably get shot by the post-colonialists but would still say burgess because i love the malayan trilogy.'the gift of rain' would be a good choice for a recently published novel as it covers a lot of history and the setting a penang a reader can recognise
NOOOONNOOOooNooooNOOoooo...O but yesss....Pretty books. Even prettier prices. How can a bibliophile like me resist? How could any of us?Probably go there on Sat (April 14th) since I have to work. Anyone else going that day? It's a great way to combine two great loves --- books and shopping --- in one fine trip! ;)
I can resist. My TBR list is quite long already - books purchased recently - so I have lots of reading material. But there is one book I already read twice. And it's not even a month old.
