Malaysians might read more, says architect and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia lecturer Prof Dr Mohamad Tajuddin if only libraries were better designed.The space within which reading takes place – the home, school or community – must nurture, encourage and supplement this important habit.He has some very sensible things to say about the design and location of school libraries and community libraries in Malaysia. One just hopes the right people are reading the Star today!
