Notthatbalai is looking for poets to read at their upcoming Arts festival this August.

The theme this year is 'Sama-sama'*

The poetry/spoken word events will be held over two days from 1-5 August and will either take place at one of the following venues:the Annexe, Central Market; Seksan's 67, Jalan Tempinis Satu; or Gudang gallery.

Translation note: Sama- sama is a malay word which means same, altogether, mutual - and more besides. (See the info in the link). It is also the standard reply to "terima kasih" ("thank you" - but literally "received with love"), and here means "Same to you" and "You're welcome".
