Pratchett's Fight

In December the news that Discworld author Terry Pratchett has Alzheimer's disease rocked his fans. Now Pratchett has announced that he will give US$1 million to the Alzheimer's Research Trust, one of the UK's leading charities.

Wonder if he thought of donating BEFORE he got the disease. It's funny how rich people donate to causes that can help them.
