1. Not literary, but I'd like the idea of Alexander the Great being a woman.
2. Montesquieu - only a woman could have come up with fairness in power sharing - probably by having loads of children who squabbled all the time.

Interesting,maybe, but ultimately as barmy as all the other theories about who Shakespeare was, as the comments suggest.
