Bacon on Bali Menu

I'm getting all excited about going to Bali in a few days time for the Ubud Writers and ReadersFestival and am so happy that Eric has blogged an interview with author Charlotte Bacon (left), a Hemingway prize winner who has relocated to Bali with her husband. He has also posted a piece from the Bali Post written by Alexis Wright about how her Miles Franklin winning novel, Carpentaria, came to be written. The festival programme is up here to whet your appetite if you need last minute convincing.

if you are in KL why don't you come along to some local events and talk to writers. just watch this blog for details. there's lots going on and plenty of ways to get involved.

meanwhile the best and perennial piece of advice is read read read!
