Oops. Missed announcing the shortlist for the Man Asian Prize which this year features two Chinese, two Indian, and two Philippino authors. The finalists are :The Story that Must Not be Told by Kavery NambisanThe winner will be announced on Thursday 13 November, 2008 at a ceremony in Hong Kong.

rob , aravin - it wasn't entered by the publisher as far as i know. also the novel should be in manuscript form and unpublished so it is a blessing for those who have yet to find a publisher.
