Telling the Raven

Traditionally, school teachers have been the primary audience for student writing. But now, Web publishing software offers us a platform from which we can tell our stories to anyone who cares to pay attention.
Writing teacher Doug Noon posts an inspiring story in the New York Times how he gets his teenage students in a school near the arctic circle to share their writing with the world via a website, Tell the Raven.

Are there any schools here in Malaysia with similar projects going on, I wonder?

Not sure about schools, but the Centre of Independent Journalism, is encouraging people, particularly disadvantaged groups in Malaysia, to share their stories via the radio.
