Some time back I blogged about a book about wildlife smuggling (with much about Malaysia in it!) entitled The Lizard King, which I very much want to read. Well, the author, Bryan Christie will be in Malaysia and appearing at MPH Mid Valley on 11th January. He will also be delivering a public lecture - Crafty Smugglers and Rare Reptiles - at the Academy for the Sciences on 13th Jan. (Flyer here.)The talk is free, but you do need to call up.
