Hugo Award nominations

The nominations for this year’s Hugo Award for science fiction have been announced. The award covers several categories, and these are the nominees for best novel :
Anathem by Neal Stephenson
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
Little Brother by Cory Doctorow
Saturn’s Children by Charles Stross
Zoe’s Tale by John Scalzi

Err... You've caught me! Mea culpa!

I've read some of them, but the rest, I've read the authors' previous works and am confident enough in their skills of storytelling for them to write another great book.

Little Brother is a little preachy though.

I guess I was looking more at the authors themselves, rather than the books that were nominated. IMHO, all the authors deserve to be given a Hugo.

i'm planning to buy the graveyard book by gaiman, coz he's like, my fav author and all... but science fiction? that's stretching the definition a bit. :)
