I love the way the Anita Brookner is described as "surprisingly enjoyable."

Are there winter reads?

Books for rainy days?

What about books for SAD people in winter?

there are the christmas booklists ...

the australian/ n.z newspapers don't tend to have winter booklists as there isn't a major holiday when folks have a stretch of time to read
