An Eating Course?
Last night the final session of my creative writing course at MPH 1 Utama a. I took my sister, Tess along. After all, when I go back to Britain, I want to find out about her life and follow her to work (she provides counselling for families with kids with ADHD and other behavioural problems). Bibi, Ted, Martini and Jerusha brought along their writing for discussion and had some very powerful pieces between them. Philip was in an earlier group but had missed his "graduation" so I was happy he could drop by and get to know some new writing buddies.
Tess, has formed the impression (probably quite rightly!) that Malaysians are totally food obsessed. It was Bibi's birthday and she totally surprised by having husband Ammar turn up bearing a ton of delicious food from a friend's restaurant in Taman Tun. (The tomato soup was especially good!)
A most enjoyable evening altogether.

The tomato soup was TOO good. Dreamt about it all night... and woke up wishing I'd had more last night. Must find that place! Maybe tomorrow...
Reminds me of our yummy last-night at BC when Kate brought in the delectable choc cake and Bridgit the home-baked banana cake. From now on, every graduation day must have food!
I think only Singaporeans are more food-obsessed than Malaysians :)
I'm glad the zit didnt show...hahaha!
I'm glad everyone enjoyed the food. I went back and had more tomato soup. It's just heavenly. Almost orgasmic if you allow me to use such a word to describe its taste. Hehe!
What did Therese say?
I was about to say how amazing the food was the other night at Sharons creative writing class, I went along expecting a night of creativity and ended up eating fabulous tomato soup and steak sandwiches, thank you all for such fab stories and great makan.
Ah, thanks! There was a gap in the narrative flow :-)))) but now it's been plugged.
