Another Day, Another Warehouse Sale

Are you (and more importantly, your bank balance) ready for yet another warehouse sale?

It's Times again:
26th April - 1st May (with the first day being member's preview). Venue: 5th floor, City Square Centre, Jalan Tun Razak.
A little inside gossip (so lean closer) ... apparently Times is bringing books up from it's Singapore warehouse: the books are surplus to requirments down there and would meet an untimely pulpy end if not snapped up by book-hungry KLites.

The last warehouse sale that Times held was absolutely brilliant and I won't miss this one ... no matter the size of my to-be-read shelf.

The other bookshops must be pretty pissed off though, as Times is saturating the market with quality books at knockdown prices which means even the second-hand bookshops will have a job to compete. (I heard that Pay Less has been cutting back on staff.) This won't be the last of the Times warehouse sales for this year either ...

Payless has one or two people at most, how can they be cutting down on staff ? :) plus their selection is bad, and mostly overpriced. The other second-hand stores trump them fairly easily, real classic gems at unbeatable prices. Came across "Return to Peyton Place" once, and it was like RM1 :)
