Custom Reads

Stumped for what book to read next? Whichbook.net is a fun website which helps you to find fiction you'd like to read when you enter in your criteria. Want something fun yet unpredictable, with lots of sex? Or a novel that's longer, serious with plenty of violence thrown in? Whichbook can suggest a book you'd like.

You can ever search by the type of character or plot you fancy!
Whichbook enables, for the first time, the choice of book to start from the individual reader and what they are looking for.
Anyway, that's the theory!

I tried it out a few times with different criteria and it kept telling me that I should read Heavy Water and Other Stories by Martin Amis.

Perhaps it knows me better than I know myself?

Is that the only book you guys are getting as recommendation?

I got more than 10 recommendations and none of them is the title you mentioned. I have the likes of Janet Evanovich, Garrison Keillor and Jeanette Winterson on my list!

Ah! You can scroll down the list of results! Tch, silly me. Okay, more results now other than Martin Amis.

Fascinating! I could do it for hours. So many books I've never heard of. I think I should buy a share in Kino - cheaper for me in the long run!

And I'm blonde every Wednesday!

Er.. why isn't there a category for books that state the obvious and make a joke of everything ? I'm male, that's the kind of book I like :)

Seriously though, I'm only half joking. It _is_ the type of book I like. :)
