Who Killed Humpty Dumpty?

So who killed Humpty-Dumpty?

There's some great buys for hopeless bibliophiles with a sense of humour as well as a sense of style on Jim Rosenau's This Into That Gallery website. (Or perhaps a little inspiration for some "do-it-yourself"?).

And don't worry about books being destroyed to make the furniture: Rosenau grows his own on sustainable plantations.

Now if only I could order the seed packets ...

I cannot help it but it tugs at my heartstrings to see nice hardcover books used/abused this way.

Sorry :(

sharon, we bought three more ikea book shelves and still not enough. so last night when I came back from book reading by Moni Mohsin (End of Innocence) I saw a pile of books by the front door. Husband said we should put them on the wall and invite passers by to take them. So sayang, but we have to be more selective now. But we keep hardcoverslah!

Wow, a new definition of 'book shelf'.
Wonders pop up at the most unusual places.

I want to have a book farm, too, Bib, and I promise to use only natural fertilisers (a nice squishy, smelly mix of mashed up and composted or com-posted blog comments, close-minded bigots and book-banning Napoleoninos).

You want to have a share? A communal farm 'pun boleh'. (Sympo can grow little bonzai pun shrubs for visitors' amusement.)

very good compost, argus lou. i like the idea of the bonsai bushes. they could fruit with Pocket Penguins or something ...

i wrote a story about a magic booktree once ... must dig it out
