Imagine having plenty of time and space to write without any of the distractions of everyday life, and food and lodging found. Not only that, but when you fancy a little distraction you can take advantage of the fact that you are surrounded by excellent story tellers whose tales you can take as material for your own writing. Too good to be true? Not a bit of it.
Don't all apply at once.

Over here there is Kamunting as well, full of very clever people.
you know what you have to do animah - you're one of those complaining about how you never have time to write
What, get myself detained without charge? 2 year free holiday at tax payers expense - and then at the Minister's whim and fancy get an additional 2 years.
and you get at least 2 novels and a play out of it. why should i feel sorry for you? but never mind, i will write letters to amnesty and hold up a big banner outside parliament
I would die of depression (in prison) but am curious to read his book now.
Indeed Animah, while you're there maybe you can interview the KMM and get a local "Mein Kampf" out of them ? :)
LOL re: animah-sharon banter. i wouldn't mind that "paid retreat" myself, despite the brainwashing sessions. but i'm sure there'd be more meat to write abt after, noh?
bound to be, lily. i'll be your agent.
