Catching Kam

Chet emailed me yesterday to say tell me that you can catch Kam Raslan reading from Confessions of an Old Boy at the following venues:

Date: Sunday, 20 May 2007
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Venue: Borders, Queensbay, Penang

Date: Sunday, 27 May 2007
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Venue: Borders The Curve

He'll also be at MPH's Writers' Circle this Saturday (19th) in the Booker Room at 1 Utama talking with Nizam Zakaria and Prof Lim Chee Seng about creating characters in fiction. This session (which I'm chairing by the way!) is a must for all you wanna-be fiction writers out there!

Received an email from k.kim yesterday that she has arranged for an announcement about Kam's reading in Borders Queensbay this Sunday in the "What's up" column of Star Metro North.

Wish I could be there for the reading, but I'm not even allowed outdoors for the next few days. Good thing lots of reading, listening and viewing materials within the four walls of my widdle apartment.

I've put up a picture of the announcement here. All the best, Kam, for your Penang reading this weekend! And thanks, k.kim, for the much-needed publicity.
