New Book Show on the Web!

Last month the New York Times announced that Daniel Menaker, former executive editor in chief of Random House would be the host of an online book programme called Titlepage, a round-table discussion with four authors :

Mr. Menaker said the idea appealed to him immediately because he had always been frustrated that he didn’t have enough opportunities, either as a publisher or an author, to speak directly to readers.

Well, today the programme is launched and here's the blurb about the first episode :

We "travel" across the world with some of the country's best novelists. This episode features fiction that takes us to the Lower East Side of New York, a midwestern college campus, the bustling stock exchange of Shanghai, and the neon streets of Las Vegas.
