Air on a Gmail

Just a non-bookish aside.

Doesn't it come to something when your internet service provider writes to you to invite you to sign up for a Gmail account? WTF?

Have you tried to email me in the last week or so, and has your email bounced back? There seems to be a problem with my (is it just my?) Streamyx account. Many of the emails I send don't get through. Many of the emails people send me get bounced back with a message about Streamyx not having an invalid IP address. I have called up TMNet and complained twice. No improvement.

Strangely enough the spam gets through okay - the viagrapornsitesharemarket crap. No problem.

I can use my yahoo account sharonbakar at yahoo dot com which is probably safer for the moment.

But it pisses me off to do this as all my files and my address book are in Outlook.

And this is the service that I am paying good money for each month.

And while we're at it, the connection is not exactly the fastest either ...
