Raman's Silverfish litmag announces the release of a complilation of 25 best pieces from the Silverfish New Writing series, comprising Malaysian short stories. The editor is Nesa Sivagnanam who is a sub-editor at The Edge.A list of stories is included on the website. I'm relieved that Eileen Lui's short story Chewing Gum Boy (from the collection I edited) made it in there.
Don't think I will be buying this volume as I've collected the whole set of New Writing over the years. But then again, it would make a nice gift for friends overseas.
